The following is a typical progression, yet adaptable. Work with your leadership to design a pathway that suits your aspirational goals and technical competencies.

Year 1 = Foundations

Learn our systems, get familiar and engage with our team and partner network. Get into a great rhythm. This first year is all about rhythm, consistency and building a solid foundation with the M&Co. team and community. Participation is important to build cohesion with the team and get you out there!

Year 2 = Finding your groove

You’re into a rhythm, confident with how things work at M&Co. and ready to focus. The 2nd year is typically about nailing your week on designated CEI’s. You might be ready to jump into contributing to some of the other aspects of clinic life to start challenging yourself.

Year 3 = Your ideals

Typically, the third year is about continuing to build your relationship with your ideal client and community. You are confident and bring authority to your work. Your roster will reflect when your ideal clients would like to be seen and you may consider joining one of the M&Co. Portfolio positions (see Portfolios below)

Year 4 = Solidifying your authority

Typically, by this milestone you have developed a solid community and ideal client. You can now solidify this with working your ideal roster and this should line up with your desired income bracket as part of your aspirational goals. You may transition to block days or a split roster. You will diversify your time to develop other essential skills such as leadership and/or other professional practice expertise, alongside clinical expertise. You may be responsible for at least one aspect of the M&Co Portfolio team. Depending on your clinical experience you may become a Senior or titled clinician at M&Co.

Start considering aspirations like: higher income, working more, working less, adding a portfolio, adding to your rewards bracket, niching in an area as an expert, and giving back to the community including becoming a leader at Masters & Co.

Year 5-8 = Making an impact

During these years you will be working towards or on a pathway. Each of these pathways take time in themselves and will come with a new set of learnings and opportunities. We can assist guide you along the process, so stay open minded to opportunities. During this time, alongside your clinical work you will likely be responsible for at least one team or portfolio, mentoring or assisting and guiding another team member working on this portfolio.

Year 9-12+ = Mastering your impact

You are a core and integral part of M&Co and are committed to the vision, mission and values. You are working on your career pathway whether that be high income, working more, working less, side hustle, expert clinician, giving back to the community and being a leader at Masters & Co.

Your commitment will reflect that you are a key player within the team and you may consider joining one of the M&Co. Portfolio positions to enhance your clinical or leadership aspirations.

Year 5 and beyond

By this time you will likely want your aspirational goals to be reflected in your income, time and skill acquisition.
