Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
With an EAP built into your company, and with the investment into your staff, a program like EAP builds a stronger, more resilient company atmosphere.
We’ve helped many organisations across Perth, Western Australia and thoughout Australia to support their teams by providing an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
Many workplaces offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), that will meet the needs of employees by delivering psychology services to support mental health and wellbeing in the workplace.
✅ Mental Health Support
✅ Resolving Office Disputes
✅ Family & Relationship Guidance
✅ Aid for Substance Abuse
✅ Crisis Backup
EAP advantages can really make a difference for companies. Many studies point out that when a business adopts an Employee Assistance Program, it often ends up paying less for healthcare, sees fewer workers leaving unexpectedly, experiences a drop in absent days, and even enjoys a boost in daily productivity. In most cases, these perks seem to work together in unexpected and beneficial ways.
At the same time, EAP services do more than just support employees on a personal level. They tend to improve overall employee well-being and help staff stay engaged on the job while also cutting down on the kinds of work slowdowns that come with frequent absences.
EAP Telehealth is a great option for many team members across Australia.
WHAT IS THE COST TO YOUR COMPANY OR SCHOOL IF YOU DON’T HAVE AN EAP?
Poor workplace mental health costs can escalate through absenteeism, presenteeism, turnover, and compensation claims, averaging up to $8,000 per worker annually. Mental health claims have surged by 50% in 6 years, costing businesses five times more than physical injury claims. Many organizations lack mental health support, heightening the risk of serious incidents. Implementing proactive support mechanisms is crucial to help your team thrive before issues arise.
An EAP is a confidential counselling and advisory service for employees and their immediate household family members to seek short-term psychological assistance for personal or work-related issues. If your company would like to partner with Masters Psychology and their team of mental health clinicians, to provide a confidential counselling service, please reach out.

Depending on the information provided/requested by the employer/referrer, the screen can be comprehensive or trimmed and tailored to requirements. A pre-employment screen may also be requested to identify any underlying conditions or issues in a prospective employee that may lead to problems/issues down the track (from a risk assessment perspective) or may help to match individual prospective employees to particular roles.
