Psychology and counselling Services Perth
All our Psychologists are required to be formally registered to practice. Our services are provided in accordance with the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics and Professional Practice to protect confidentiality, and quality of service.

Jessie Carter, Clinical Psychologist Registrar
Having experience in mental health and drug services, focusing on amplifying lived experiences and promoting evidence-based change. Jessie is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar with a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Curtin University.
Jessie values trust and strong therapeutic relationships, emphasizing empathy, curiosity, and humour in her practice.
She works with people of all ages, particularly enjoying sessions with adolescents, young adults, and neurodivergent individuals.
Jessie's expertise includes supporting those with ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and relationship issues. She employs various evidence-based therapies, including EMDR, CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, and DBT-informed approaches.

Leeanne Purdom, Senior Counselling Psychologist & Board Approved Supervisor

Leeanne is a down to earth, compassionate and seasoned clinician with over 25 years of practice in clinical, community and forensic settings. She bases her interventions on practical and tailored interventions and for that reason, develops trust readily with her clients, and with our team. Leeanne has also practiced as a psychologist in rural settings, in Government departments and Universities whereby working in consultation with key stakeholders - and working within systems was needed for service provision. She holds ambition for quality service provision where simplicity is key. Leeanne loves to enhance the resources found uniquely within each individual and holds their perspectives in mind. She marvels at peoples resilience and capacity to respond to life challenges with humour. As such, she has learned to hold complexity with ease and finds it powerful to sit in the presence of others while they share. We love her appetite to learn and participate in new things and she is happy to put her hand to quality improvement initiatives for which we are best known.

Fiona van der Meulen, Senior Psychologist

Fiona is a senior registered psychologist with over 10 years of experience in employment and disability services, health, injury management, and workplace consulting. She has a strong background in workplace mental health, including dealing with psychological injuries and assessments for fitness to work, especially in FIFO jobs and insurance issues. With over 15 years in leadership and consulting, she understands the challenges of today's workplace.
Fiona helps adults facing depression, anxiety, grief, relationship problems, stress, burnout, injuries, job loss, career changes, and personal growth. She has a friendly, approachable counseling style, recognizing that clients seek help to make positive changes and need practical strategies for that.
Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Psychology, and a Master's in Organizational Psychology.

Marie Smith, Clinical Psychologist Registrar
Portfolio: Kids & Families, Albany
Marie is an incredible asset to the Masters & Co. clinics and has a professional interest in contributing to services for children and families within our organisation. Marie tailors her approach to the needs and goals of her clients and is not daunted by complexity. Marie also sees youth, young adults and adults to see healthy lives, families and children emerge in Albany. Academically, Marie completed a Masters thesis on the consent capacity of older adults with dementia; and plans to pursue further endorsement in clinical psychology working across the lifespan. Marie’s colleagues report her as being an easy going and engaging therapist who seeks to contribute meaningfully to better access and better outcomes for mental health care in her region.

Sophie Vasiliu, Registered Psychologist
Sophie is a warm and approachable psychologist with a special interest in eating disorders, body image, anxiety, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges. She works with both adolescents and adults, creating a safe, inclusive space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.Since completing her Honours in Psychology in 2019, Sophie has focused on the link between emotion regulation, body image, and disordered eating. She brings this research insight into her therapeutic work, drawing on evidence-based approaches such as Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and the Maudsley Approach to Family-Based Therapy.
Sophie believes that therapy works best when there’s a foundation of trust and mutual respect. She takes the time to understand each person’s unique story, integrating their strengths and interests into the therapeutic process. Her practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and committed to providing a non-judgmental, compassionate environment for all.
When she's not working, Sophie enjoys gardening, cooking for friends and family, and taking her dog for swims at the beach.
